A couple of summers ago I was trying to truth journal for insecurity and having a hard time making a go of it. When your beliefs are a bunch of she thinks and he thinks statements, it’s hard to know the truth.
So I started working on a new renewing of the mind tool: insecurity questions. I shared the questions with the women and teenagers in my Bible studies, and they really liked them—so I started writing more of them.
I now have questions (and Bible verses) for both emotions and habits, and I’d like to start sharing some of those on my blog to see if they might help you as well.
Reviving the Old Blog
I’ll start with the questions in my next post, and I’ll also start reviving my old blog in my next post. I’d been hoping to write this blog for all ages but the more I get into practical material, the harder it is to find examples that apply to everyone.
So what I’d like to do—or at least give it a try and see how it works—is post examples for more of a younger crowd (older teens and twenties) on this blog and for a little bit older crowd on my other blog.
If it’s a post that would apply to both groups (such as the questions and Bible verses), I’ll post it on both blogs.
Anyway, I’ll give this a try and see how it goes! I’ll try to post two or three times a week on each blog.
P.S. I’ll also be changing the name of my other blog as it will deal with both eating issues and other issues.
