i loved your post and this particular portion stood out to me “If we pull away from God and either give up the battle or try to fight the battle in our own strength, we don’t grow.”
That has been my lesson too during dry season (s!). I’ve learnt that # 1 I can’t afford to give up, I must keep pressing in no matter how i feel or how it looks. #2 It’s not by might or by power but by they Holy ghost. i can’t do it alone.
Great post and great reminders!
Great post! (((HUG)))
Barb, I just discovered you yesterday, and I’m sooo glad I did! I spent almost all afternoon looking at your posts! You have so much wisdom to share — it really gives me hope that I might be able to change some of the things in my life that continue to lead me away from the Lord. I am especially eager to begin the New Year’s Resolution Bible Study, pertaining to renewing my mind — I really really need that. So, not to put pressure on you regarding blogging — I really get that it can be a struggle in a variety of ways — but your blog is really blessing my heart! God bless you.
Thanks so much for your words of encouragement, Sara! I’m excited that you’re doing the New Year’s Resolution study. Praying God will do great things in your life!
