Hi Everyone! I am happy (and relieved!) to announce that the I Deserve a Donut iPhone app update is now available!
I was thinking it would be a regular update where you could choose whether or not you wanted to update it, but from what I’m hearing, it’s automatically updating on people’s iPhones. I’m sorry about doing that to you without warning!
There are several reasons I updated the app, but here are just a few advantages of the new format:
1. The update has the whole I Deserve a Donut book on it, whereas the original app had the questions and Bible verses, but was missing the introductory material. The tips and some of the questions have also been updated on the new app. If you have the book, the new app is just like the book.
2. Like the book, the update has self-condemnation questions on it, which the old app didn’t have.
3. Like the book, the update only has two categories: Lies that make you eat and Emotions that make you eat. This makes it a little easier to find the questions and Bible verses that you want as you don’t need to stop and think, “Is this a situation that makes me eat or an attitude?”
If you don’t have the app already and would like to see a video of how to use the app: click here. If you want to access the app on the iTunes store, click here.
I hope you enjoy the new version of the app! If you’re not familiar with I Deserve a Donut (And Other Lies That Make You Eat), you can check out the book version at Amazon, as the app will have the same content as the book, but in an easier to access form for renewing your mind on the go.
Also want to let you know I’ve been scoping on the subject of Christian weight loss. You can access the scopes here: Weight Loss Scopes. If you want to watch live and be able to ask questions and comment, click here for more info on how to do that.
Hope everyone has a great day, and please let me know if you have any questions about the app in the comments below!
