Wouldn’t it be nice to . . .
- Overcome procrastination and start finishing projects?
- Lose weight and stop the lose/gain cycle?
- Make progress with a difficult or scary goal?
- Experience more joy and productivity in your job, ministry, or vocation?
I’ve written and podcasted about these subjects for years, but now I’m excited to offer help through a one-on-one or group coaching relationship! Keep reading for answers to FAQ about coaching.
Coaching FAQ
What should I expect from a coaching relationship?
Coaching is a way to work on an area of your life you need help with. I’ll ask you questions that will help you gain insight and awareness, so you can develop and follow through on an action plan.
Coaching is different than counseling in that it’s looking forward to the future rather than look back to the past–although we sometimes look at the lies you learned in the past when they’re affecting your ability to reach your goals.
If you’d like to watch a video of coaching in action, click here: sample coaching video. (This is a video created by Coach Approach Ministries.)
Do you have any training in coaching?
I have an Executive Christian Coach (ECC) certification with Coach Approach Ministries and have also had quite a bit of training in biblical counseling through biblical counseling conferences at Grace Bible Church in Bozeman, MT.
What times are you available?
Most of my available times will be on Monday, Friday, and Saturday 10:30-4:30 MST through April 10, 2022.
How often will we meet?
Weight Loss: I currently only offer group weight loss coaching as I feel that groups are much more effective for weight loss. These classes will meet once a week, usually for about 6 weeks.
Non-Weight Loss: If you’d like coaching in other areas of your life, you can decide how often you’d like to meet, but generally once a month is enough for most clients. That way you have a whole month to work on your goal. If you’re interested in pursuing coaching in another area of your life besides weight loss, please contact Barb here and share what you’d like to work on.
How do I sign up for weight loss group coaching?
Use the form below to be added to our group coaching waitlist!
Update 1/14/22 – Unfortunately, I have a very long waitlist right now and I’m not sure when I’ll be doing classes again. You’re welcome to sign up for the list, as things may change in the future, but right now I expect it to be a long wait unless I start doing much larger groups.
However, if you Google Christian weight loss, there are a lot of good coaches out there. I also suggest doing a weight loss Bible study with your church or a friend or family member as that is also helpful!
