“Healing is messy”
That is so true. It’s hard to be patient, to rest and/or wait for the healing/change. We often think things should be easy. But we live in a fallen world and we are imperfect people. God uses trials to refine us and draw us closer to Him.
There are different seasons in life and God has a plan and purpose for all of those seasons even if we don’t like the season we are in. We may feel as if the season we are in is very productive but seeds are being planted. A harvest takes awhile to grow.
What helps me is to remind myself that my perspective is limited. Results are not always seen by us but they are seen by God. My focus must be Kingdom minded and I must leave the results and harvest in His hands. So not easy to do and I mess it up far too often. But His grace is enough. He likes working in my messes. It shows His glory even brighter!
Barb, I like what you said about your kids cooking. It took time and practice but it was worth it.

Thanks for all those insights, TC. Love the harvest idea. It seems like forever when those seeds are in the ground and then such small plants but by the end of the summer it’s hard to keep up with all of the production! Each season has it’s purpose and benefit!
