Do you ever feel like you make the same New Year’s resolutions year after year? The truth is, it’s hard to change. That’s why we need God’s help! Today I’d like to share a free book and a New Year Bible Study you can use to go to God for help with transformation.
Free Kindle Book
For the next three days, you can download The Renewing of the Mind Project for free on Kindle. This is a book that will help you with those New Year’s resolutions you keep making year after year. The truth is, most of those resolutions can’t be done in our own strength. That’s why we keep making them year after year!
It has Bible verses and questions you can use to talk to God about breaking habits, starting habits, accomplishing goals, and letting go of negative emotions like worry, anger, and insecurity.
You can use the book by yourself with God, but it’s also helpful for discipling others, counseling, and small group Bible studies.
Click on the links below for a sample of some of the questions and Bible verses in the Renewing of the Mind Project:
- Anger/Annoyance questions and Bible verses
The book also has questions and Bible verses on breaking habits and pursuing goals, but I just realized, I don’t have any of these on my blog!

New Blog Design Coming Soon! For the past couple of months, I’ve been working on reorganizing the blog. If you look at the tabs at the top of the blog, most of them now have a drop down menu that I hope will make it easier to find things. I’m also excited about a new blog design which should be up in the next week or two!
I’d appreciate it if you’d share this post as I’d like to give away as many books as possible in the next three days! I’m excited about the new year and all that God will do in our lives. I’ve heard from so many of you throughout the year; I’ve rejoiced with your testimonies of growth and commiserated with your stories of how hard the growth process is. It’s nice to do it together, isn’t it? I look forward to another year of fellowship. :)
