In August or early September, I’ll be publishing a 30 day weight loss Bible study. It will include some of the free Bible studies on this blog plus a few new ones I’ve written especially for the book.
I first thought of the idea for this study when I was going through Jeff Goins’s writing class. He made everything so simple and doable that even an inept, non-writer like myself could do it.
As I went through his class, I thought, “I wonder if I could use this same approach in writing a book on weight loss?”
I gave it a try and am excited about the results. Each day you’ll have a Bible study, an assignment, and a challenge to help you develop a disciplined approach to eating. I’ve tried it myself, and it really helps me stick to my boundaries!
If you’d like to be notified when the book comes out, please click here. Update: the book is out already. Click here to see it on Amazon.
I’ll also use that list to let you know when the Donut questions and Bible verses will be available in another format, which should also be some time this summer.

How about leaving the “for” away and calling it: “TASTE TRUTH!” – That makes it more of an invitation!! To me the word “taste” sounds better that “appetite”, as it evokes images of pleasure, whereas appetite can have the connotation of “ravenous eating”!! :) I like this title!! :))

That’s a great idea! Thanks for taking the time to share it and give your thoughts. It’s really helpful!!

“Tasty Truth”…..sort of like Tasty Twist ice cream only better….sorry, couldn’t resist!

That’s a funny one, Martha – I’m afraid it would make me want to eat every time I picked up the book, though! :)
