I would be crazy not to eat this

Do you ever feel like you’d be crazy not to eat this? Even when you know you’ll regret it? We’ll talk about that on today’s episode of the Taste for Truth podcast!

i would be crazy not to eat this

This podcast episode will be a bit different than my normal ones. First, you can renew your mind along with me with a renewing exercise from my book, Say Goodbye to Emotional Eating  (“It Would Be Crazy Not to Eat This!”), then I’ll do a series of “Ask Barb” questions that I received from listeners. There a variety of topics covered, but all of them are centered around eating habits for ourselves or others. I hope you find something that is helpful and encouraging!

I also wanted to mention that I will be tapering off and ultimately ending the Taste for Truth podcast sometime in the next 6-9 months. I will still be doing my Christian Habits Podcast, and all of the past Taste for Truth episodes will still be available! I’m just at a place in my life where I need to find a work-life balance that is sustainable, and going down to one podcast seems like a very helpful way to do that.

I am also planning to give online course creation a try. If you are interested in staying informed about that, click here.

Lastly, my online Philippians Bible study is still going on (as of May 2024). If you’d like to join in for the last four sessions, click here for more information!

I have been listening to Taste for Truth for about 2 months. I recently bought Freedom From Emotional Eating (today was Week 1, Day 2). I just returned from a family gathering and want to share my experience with you.

I had already eaten what was allowable within my boundaries– and THEN a cousin arrived with cherry cheesecake (one of my favorites!), which I don’t often. I actually ran through my five options (from this morning’s Bible study). There were even some very yummy veggies I could have had an extra helping of. But you know what I did? I grabbed my planner & a pen from my purse and had a very quick session of renewing my mind.

And I didn’t eat the cheesecake. Or the veggies. And I KNEW that I want missing out.

Thank you for your work. I am some of the fruit.

That’s so amazing!! I love that story, Wendy! It’s so neat that you were willing to take out your planner and pen and just renewing on the go there – and wonderful results from doing it. Thanks for sharing with me as it’s fun to hear about it! So glad you’re experiencing fruit!
